Another hot day brush fire brings company's 4 & 1 to Oak Springs subdivision at around 2 pm today. Chief 41 first on scene, set the Oak Springs command and requested a tanker from Co.2 PVFD and also another company and tanker from Amelia.  Crews got on the fast moving field fire pretty quick and also set up a protection line for the homes that might be in danger. The fire was knocked with in 30 to 45 min. and some units started picking up and returning while other units hit the hot spots. Good job by all on another very hot & dry day.
